It's been awhile since I've updated ... 2 months to be exact!  Lots has been going on.  My personal laptop is broken so I'm computer-less at home.  But I do have my work laptop.

I'm currently sitting in my hotel in Winnipeg ... it's 5:30 am BC time and it's -50c outside.  Less than ideal conditions but it's fun none-the-less.  It dumped snow out here a few weeks ago and because it's soooooooooo cold the snow is still around because it can't melt!  It looks like it snowed recently.  I'm in Winnipeg for 3 weeks for work.  It's a looong time to be away from family, friends and my boyfriend :(  But as my roommate says distance makes the heart grow fonder.

I went to the Barenaked Ladies concert on Friday night!  They are probably the most talented musicians I've ever seen.  They were making up songs on the fly; made an entire song up about all the bald men on their crew ... one person starts and the rest of them just pick up.  Very talented!  They're definitely fun to watch.

Anyways, time to get to Head Office.

Brown water is GROSS!!!  The weather here is unbelievable!  It snowed briefly today before the torrential downpour continued.  Still no water around here ... It took 3 different locations yesterday before I found a 1L bottle of water!   They still haven't restocked today OR they have and are sold out!  CRAZInESS!

I took a shower in the brown water today ... GROSS!  My roommate will still boil and drink the brown water though *barf*  Some people can handle anything I guess.  Seriously though, the water looks like dirty toilet water!

I have two weeks left before I start my sales position.  Another 2 months until I take off to Winnipeg for three weeks!  Time is flying!  Tomorrow I'm going car shopping ... I've decided on a 2006 Honda Civic LX 4dr dark blue. I figure this car will last me for 20 years since it's a Honda.  I'll be able to use it to go to Whistler, roadtrips and even when I have kids!

I came to a realization last weekend, I'm actually growing up.  I no longer party on the weekends, I'm more likely now to go out for dinner and a movie with my boyfriend or going for a drink with my girlfriends to catch up.  No more crazy nights, no more crazy stories!  On top of that, now that they're finally letting me loose to the public at work, I'll have to wear suits everyday and have grown up conversations.  But then again when i think about what it was like a few decades ago, people our age were married with kids!   

Anyways, getting picked up soon for a games night with friends! Ohhh how lame am I!
